It's housed in a small building with an irregular lot. The officers working here for the most part are competent professionals and reasonably polite. The service staff tend to be cold, disorganized and inattentive of their jobs as service professionals. If you come here prepare to wait a long time and deal with poor service before you finally speak with anyone who can help you.

I was tailgated for over 4 lights in my brand new car. As soon as I went pass the automatic camera I was pulled over for going 35 in a "25 zone". But the posted speed limit was 30mph where i was pulled over. He gave me a 90 ticket, and afterwards turned around and went the opposite way. What a crappy police department. PETTY. Im fighting the ticket. Screw them.

All of the officers are professional and courteous!
Like an idiot I locked my keys inside my car. I called UMPD simply to ask for advice on who to call. They immediately sent a squad car out who unlocked the car. Everyone that I spoke to and the auxiliary team itself were extremely friendly and professional.
