I really like coming to this place to do alterations. Mercedes is the best. She will tell you right away what she can and can't do, so you don't have grand illusions of what the garment will look like once it's done. I also like that alterations come with dry cleaning, so your garment looks like new once done. Come to ZIPS Dry Cleaners in College Park! They are very professional and quick. Only downside: Parking.
I been going here for a few years now. Its a good location and nice staff. However, I never had a dry cleaning place before that I had to go back multiple times to get clothes clean. If I am spending money for someone to do this service, can you please do it right. I am going back one more time since they did not clean my pants properly again (no surprise there). After this, it would probably be my last time here.
UPDATE: I had 4 men's pants tailored there. At $20/piece - pricey - but he did a great job! 5 stars for alteration service too
If you have stains on your clothes you will need to tell them other than that, they will not come out clean and you will have to go back.
In and out fast. They get the job done and don't charge an arm and a leg.

This is my first time going to this Zips location and it was a horrible experience (at least the pick up portion of it). The clerk who attended to me was extremely rude and condescending. (I think her name was Bernice). There's nothing worse than spending money at an establishment with bad customer service. I'm not sure how Zips can employ such a disrespectful clerk. Needless to say, I will not be coming back and will inform my friends/collegues of how bad my experience was.
