I was very unhappy but I usually am. The guy cut my hair was cool but I asked him how I should maintain my hair and he gave me a bs answer. Also...didn't even recommend any products to me this time.
Much better than main event for a haircut.
I have had great experiences here. Been coming for over three years. Cindy cuts most of the time. On a few occasions when she was off, several other stylists did the same awesome job . Much better than those butchers near Mom's . Who ever thinks sixteen bucks is too much is either in college or a cheap mofo. For anyone who truly gets a bad cut, go home and check your bathroom mirror, there you will see the problem.
Without a doubt, the worst haircut I have ever gotten. Nothing is blended well, and way more was taken off one side than the other. Linh combed my hair towards my cowlick before cutting and now it's the only way I can wear my hair without looking awful, only my hair refuses to stay in that direction. I had no reason to assume that she didn't know what she was doing, so I let her do her job. That was obviously a mistake. I will never return to this establishment.
Yesterday evening I went in for a trim. After waiting 15 minutes, the stylist told me that she may not have time to do my hair and suggested two other stylists I should try. Both stylists declined to do my hair stating they had other clients. Asking how much longer it might be, I decided to wait the additional 45 minutes. Finally, after 2 hours I think it is my turn and she tells me she has a previous appointment. The guy is sitting there and she asked can she take me first because I've been waiting, and he responds that he will leave if she does. How awkward! I was just about to walk out when another stylist named Georgia arrived. She took care of me right away and did a very nice job on my hair. Georgia gets 5 stars but the Hair Cuttery (College Park, MD) itself does not deserve such a rating. Other staff were neglectful, discriminatory, rude, and unprofessional.
